Libo Chen
Tenure-track Assistant Professor

Department of Electrical Engineering, Uppsala University

Research and whatever you may like to be mentioned about you Dr Libo Chen is a tenure-track Assistant Professor at Uppsala University, Sweden. As PI, Libo leads a research group on neuromorphic electronic devices, circuits, and intelligent sensing systems for robotics and biomedical applications. Specifically, his group focuses on 1) developing compact and low-power neuromorphic circuits using ferroelectric/antiferroelectric transistors by circuit-device co-design, as well as 2) developing neuromorphic tactile sensory systems to rebuild a human-like sense of touch for robotics, prosthetics, and intelligent diagnosis and treatment systems, such as digital biomarkers and drug delivery. His research connects material properties and device physics with neuronal dynamics, circuit functions, and network computation, to transform device-level mechanisms into useful electronic building blocks for AI.
